GABINET GAWĘD
About me
I'm a psychologist from Opole.
I believe everyone carries a story worth listening to.
I earned my master's degree in psychology from the University of Opole, where I also studied English Philology — which is why I'm able to offer consultations in English as well. My training has focused mainly on ADHD, the autism spectrum, social skills training (TUS), and supporting the development of children and teenagers. I have a particular interest in neuropsychology and neurodiversity — how the differences in the nervous system affect everyday life, relationships, and self-esteem.
I gained experience working at the Czarodziejskie Smyczki Kindergarten, the orphanage in Turawa, and the University of Opole. Alongside running my practice, I currently collaborate with the Pracownia Umiejętności Społecznych.
At my practice, I create a space where you can pause, name what you're feeling, and gradually find your own way forward. I believe that sometimes, instead of instructions, people simply need company along the way.
I'm fascinated by stories — the ones found in literature and mythology, but above all, the ones my clients bring with them every day. The name "Gabinet Gawęd" is also an invitation: come in and just tell me how things are.
